CBA is the trade body representing manufacturers of aggregate
concrete building block in Great Britain. Some brief facts about
our association.
We
represent an industry of some 50 manufacturers producing
around 60 million m² of aggregate blocks per year from over
100 block plants nationwide
Our members are committed to high standards of product and service
We
are highly active in lobbying Government agencies such as
the Department for Communities and Local Government and The Health & Safety Executive
to protect and promote members’ interests
We
make representations to BRE, BSI, CEN and other major industry
bodies
We
are a founder member of the Traditional Housing Bureau
We
implement a highly respected programme of ongoing programme
of product
development, research and testing
We
have been, and continue to be, instrumental in the development
of new
design and construction solutions
