Section 6 (Scotland)

The Concrete Block Association (CBA) has created a 12 page guide to help specifiers and builders satisfy the requirements of the The Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004, conservation of fuel and power. The new regulations are based on a range of performance values including those for the building envelope. The guide features 14 solutions detailing typical external cavity wall constructions, involving aggregate concrete blockwork, with U-values between 0.25 and 0.30 W/m2K.
